Company History
Swift Safyre was established in 1978 in Tunbridge Wells by Roger Rawlings, our former chairman, as a Fire and Security Alarm component distributor. With only one major alarm installer in the region at the time there was a significant opportunity for us to develop an alarm installation business; customer demand convinced Swift’s directors to launch a security installation and maintenance company.
In 2009 Swift, the original trading name, purchased Safyre, a fire design and install company of some thirty years’ experience. This gave clients who required both fire and security protection a one-stop solution for their needs, and the comfort of a well-managed integrated installation.
Today's company
Based in Kent, Swift Safyre is a well-respected fire and security installation and maintenance organisation. We keep up-to-date with the latest technological developments so that we can always offer our clients the very best equipment and systems. We are proud to provide a high quality, efficient, competitive, courteous and personal service.
In October 2015, Swift Safyre Fire & Security Systems was acquired by Spy Alarms Ltd. Our high standards will remain unchanged but the enlarged business will be able to offer improved engineering resources and even faster response times.
